No! Unlike other no-code solutions where CMS items need to be created, comments are instead created in our database. So comments on our app will not contribute to the CMS item limit of your Webflow plan. This is especially valuable for websites with lots of CMS data where CMS items are at a premium, such as programmatic SEO sites or business directories.
Can I translate your app to languages other than English?

Why did you build the Webflow Comments Section app?

While Webflow's CMS is amazing for publishing blog content on template pages, it's not possible to add a comment section natively. Comment sections are an important part of the user experience for many blog owners because it provides an opportunity to connect with readers, respond to questions, and receive feedback. Embedding apps like Disqus are options, but they offer a fraction of the design flexibility that Webflow blog owners desire.
So we built a solution that allows you to add a comment section to your website in minutes and customize it in the Webflow Designer. New comments are shown instantaneously, without needing to refresh, on the blog page they commented on. No need to use Zapier, embed a 3rd party solution, or reference a separate CMS collection for 1000s of comments.
Will Supersparks work on a self-hosted site?

Our commenting & reviews features will work on self-hosted sites! However, our Webflow Memberships integration will not work - so we recommend using Outseta or Memberstack if you want to enable member only content.
Our community posting feature also won't work on self-hosted sites, since it leverages the CMS to create new pages of content.
