Much has changed since our last update, including our integration with Outseta, reply notifications for members, inline images, and more. So let’s not waste any time. Here are our newest improvements to our commenting, reviews, and community products,
🤝 Outseta Integration
You can now enable member commenting, reviews, and community posting for your Outseta memberbase on Webflow sites. When a user is logged in through Outseta, data from their profile (name, avatar, etc.) will be displayed with their content. Click here to read the full announcement.
✏️ Memberstack & Outseta Forum Templates
Our forum template for Webflow now has cloneable versions made just for Outseta and Memberstack memberbases, with relevant attributes pre-installed to speed up your development and installation process.
📸 Inline Images For Post Rich Text Form
Our most requested feature is here! Users can now create community posts that include images in the rich text. All of our form components and templates now come pre-installed with this functionality. But if you have an existing community, be sure watch this video to learn more about how to add this functionality to your rich text form.
📧 Member Reply Email Notifications
To increase community engagement, we added a feature to notify members when someone responds to their comments, reviews, or posts. This feature lets you:
1) enable email notifications by default for all authors of content
2) allow members to manage notification preferences in their account settings with your chosen membership tool (Webflow Memberships, Outseta, or Memberstack).

⚠️ Community Posting - No More Webflow Logic
If you were an early user of our community posting feature, you may remember setting up Webflow Logic to create new CMS items / posts. But you may have noticed Webflow Logic has a propensity for randomly not working. To address this, we’ve built a more dependable solution that we highly recommend switching to. To learn more and get started check out our new short video.
💪 Performance Improvements
Our app now gets loaded over 1 million times per month —thank you for your support in reaching this milestone 🎉! To support this growth, we’ve implemented a new backend, which has sped up load times of user / community-generated content by up to 10x.
📕 New Educational Resources
Below are some notable resources and tutorials we've published recently:
- Help Center: Our long-awaited Help Center is now live, featuring a growing library of articles and new content added weekly.
- Forum Template Tutorial: The interest in our forum template has been remarkable since launching in June! But since so many users have opted to use the template on existing Webflow sites, we've created a detailed Help Center tutorial video to guide users through this installation step-by-step.
- Audio Player Tutorial: We’ve launched a new tutorial for our audio player feature 🎧.
- Member Content Gating: We’ve also added a new Help Center article that explains how to use our integrated membership tools to customize your community experience by gating specific elements and pages.
🔔 What's next? Community Engagement!
While design-flexibility via Webflow remains the core value of our tool, as we look ahead to 2025, we recognize the need to equip users with a larger toolset to foster community growth. Therefore, we are now focused on adding features to enhance community engagement and expansion, such as:
- Email nurturing, onboarding, and weekly digests
- Following topics, groups, and other members
- Custom email branding (logos, colors, custom domains, etc.)
We further recognize the vital role education and events play in modern community building and engagement. That's why we're also exploring new features, templates, components, and tutorials specifically designed to support these areas.
